In this year’s action on the Big Island, Jan Frodeno took the win (8:14:4) followed by Andreas Raelert (8:17:43) in second and Timothy O’Donnell (8:18:50) in third. Andy Potts finished fourth (8:21:25) followed by Tyler Butterfield (8:23:09) in fifth.
In the women’s race, Daniela Ryf (8:57:57) claimed victory followed by Rachel Joyce (9:10:59) in second, Liz Blatchford (9:14:52) in third, Michelle Vesterby (9:18:50) in fourth, and Heather Jackson (9:21:45) in fifth.
