Originally from Lago di Garda, Italy, Davide Giardini’s athletic background ranges from FIS skiing to pro triathlon where he achieved four pro wins, dozens of podium finishes, and a world championship top-10 finish while representing Team USA. After retiring from pro triathlon in 2018, Davide got into the local skimo scene and has since achieved top performances in domestic races. In 2021, Davide founded the Boulder Skimo Club to introduce more people to ski touring and unite the local uphill community under one voice. He recently placed third in the vertical race and fourth in the individual race at the US National Team Qualifying race in mid-December at Arapahoe Basin, achieving the team qualification standard.
