Chris Leiferman of Longmont blasted the bike en route to victory at IRONMAN Florida. His time of 7 hours 52 minutes 44 seconds was just over two minutes ahead of runner-up Bradley Weiss of South Africa. Sam Long of Boulder took third in 7:55:33. In the women’s race, Katrina Matthews of Great Britain posted a time of 8:40:50 for the win, followed by Americans Skye Moench and Meredith Kessler.
