December 2, 2010 (Colorado Springs, CO) – Fifteen spots for an exclusive dinner and behind-the-scenes tour of the Colorado Springs Olympic Training Center with three-time U.S. Olympic triathlete Hunter Kemper are currently up for auction through USA Triathlon.
This special event will be held on January 14, 2011, in conjunction with the 2011 USA Triathlon Race Director Symposium in Colorado Springs. Dinner at the Olympic Training Center will be preceded by a one-of-a-kind tour of the facility. There are 15 spots available for the dinner and tour, and the minimum bid is $100 per ticket.
Bids can be emailed to Faye Stech, USA Triathlon Event Services Coordinator, at faye.stech@usatriathlon.org. The auction is open to the public, and bidders are not required to attend the symposium.
The 15 highest bids will win a spot for dinner and the tour, and Kemper will provide a special prize for the highest bid.
All proceeds will go to the A-T Children’s Project, an organization that raises research funds to find a cure for ataxia-telangiectasia (A-T), a rare and fatal genetic disease that strikes children.
