Leiferman, Seymour Claim Great Floridian Wins

Chris Leiferman (Longmont) and Jeanni Seymour (Boulder) won the 30th Great Floridian Triathlon against a competitive pro field. Leiferman posted the fastest bike split of the day and second-fastest run to finish in 2 hours 34 minutes 42 seconds – with a scant 14 seconds to spare to the next finisher, Bradley Weiss of South Africa. Ben Kanute of Phoenix rounded out the men’s podium. Semour put together a strong race across all three disciplines as she powered to a 2:59:17 win over Lisa Becharas, also of Boulder, and Lenny Ramsey of Arkansas.
