(Boulder, Colo.) — Helle Frederiksen, visiting from Denmark, won this year’s pro women’s division in the Boulder Peak Triathlon with a time of 2 hours, 35 seconds. Radka Vodickova of the Czech Republic took second in 2:02:27, and Laren Goss of Boulder finished third in 2:06:43. The women started about 12 minutes before the men, and Frederiksen kept the lead to the finish to add an extra $1,000 in prize money to her winnings. In the pro men’s race, Matt Chrabot, who lives and trains in Colorado Springs, took the title in 1:49:13. Jimmy Seear of Boulder took second in 1:51:32, and Kevin Collington of Boulder rounded out the top three in 1:52:55.
