Colorado Triathletes Shine at IRONMAN Boulder
Clay Emge, 8:39:59, from Texas and Lectie Altman, 10:01:09, from Hawaii took top honors at this year’s IRONMAN Boulder. Emge’s win was the second time he has won the race.
Colorado athletes Rudy Kahsar (8:52:45), Steve Johnson (9:05:30), and Gregory Lindquist (9:07:14) placed second, fourth, and fifth, respectively. Juan Valencia of Columbia took third in 9:04:31.
In the women’s race, Kathryn Throolin of Utah took second (10:10:03), Ana Naranjo of Colombia third (10:23:05), Katie Corbin of Florida fourth (10:24:37), and Colorado’s Nicole Callan fifth (10:28:22).
