Drew Scott Victorious at 5430 Sprint Triathlon; Lisa Marangon Wins Second Title
June 17, 2012 (Boulder, CO) – Drew Scott, 21, of Boulder and Lisa Marangon, 32, of Australia took the top spots in this year’s 5430 Sprint Triathlon at the Boulder Reservoir. Scott clocked a time of 1 hour 6 minutes 8 seconds with fellow Boulderites Steve Johnson (1:09:24) and Brian Schanning (1:11:12) rounding out the top three. Marangon, a professional triathlete from Sydney won her second consecutive 5430 Sprint Triathlon with a time of 1:16:36. Danielle Kehoe (1:18:37) of Arvada and Taylor Fogg (1:18:57) of Colorado Springs completed the women’s top three.
