CU Boulder’s Annie Meeder Leads the Way

The University of Colorado Boulder’s Annie Meeder won the women’s Olympic-Distance National Championship, completing the 1500-meter swim, 41-kilometer bike and 10k run in a time of 2 hours 7 minutes 58 seconds.

“It feels awesome (to win). I didn’t get out as fast as I wanted to on the swim, so I knew I had to work hard on the bike. I ended up third off the bike and just pushed as hard as I could on the run,” Meeder said. “There’s a lot of really strong girls out here, so this feels awesome.”

AJ Cuddeback of the University of Colorado Boulder won the non-binary national title in the Olympic-Distance race.
